I am a Nurse in the Air Force and had the honor of working with Dr Brown at Nellis Air Force base. One day he mentioned that he wrote a book, and before my deployment this month- I bought it and am currently reading it. Thank you Mike for keeping your brothers' story alive. I currently work as a flight nurse flying wounded warriors out of Afghanistan, and it is stories like your brothers and others that I hear every day that assure me that I will NEVER FORGET. My thoughts still go out to Paddy's family.

I have just discovered that this wonderful special, brave man is my 2nd cousin! My cousins and I are doing the Lynch family tree and were shocked to get this site from Paddys cousin Betsy. If any of our relatives are reading this we would love to hear from you. Our grandfather and Paddys grandmom were brother/sister! Bless you Paddy and THANK YOU. Nancy, John & MaryAnn and all the upstate Lynch cousins

Wow, and I thought you were just awesome to work with. I started reading this in the ER on slow nights, but had to stop when I started tearing up. I finally got to sit down at home and take it all in, and read almost the whole thing before falling asleep at 7am. (gotta love nightshift) Paddy sounds like one hell of a guy, must-of taken after his brother.

I am eternally grateful for the life of this extraordinary gentleman. Though I never met him, I am moved by his living example of leadership and character. His life and sacrifice for the good of others is a fitting reminder of how we should live. May Captain Paddy Brown enjoy the peace of Heaven with Our Lord.
